Paul Dusseault, former President of the Rotary Club of Riverview, will be joining us to speak about his experiences on international projects, the challanges, the rewards and what his plans are for future projects.

Paul's Bio:

Paul has an engineering background, specializing in project management and development. After working for 34 years Paul retired in 2015 and has since been travelling extensively with his wife Cynthia as well as getting more involved in his Rotary Club and Rotary International projects.  Paul joined Rotary in 2011 and has since held the executive positions of Community Services Director (2 years, 2012/2013 and 2013/2014), Club President (2017/2018) and Membership Director (again 2 years, 2018/19 and 2019/2020).  Paul participated on the Rotary Club of Edmonton Riverview’s International Medical/Dental mission to Ecuador (called Operation Esperanza) 5 times – from 2014 to 2018 and was responsible for the project logistics and finances. Paul successfully applied for two Rotary Global Grants for that project as well as annual Alberta Government CIP Grants. Through the collaboration with the local Rotary Club in Ecuador, Paul and his wife have since undertaken several additional projects in Ecuador. Paul and Cynthia have two daughters. They love camping and gardening.
