Today, October 16, 2006: Today we will hear Don Chisholm, past District Governor, speak on his National Immunization Days Trip to Mali last year. This will be the first of several programs to inform Howell Rotary members about the scope of the Rotary Foundation.

President Jim is back from Australia where among other things he attended a meeting of the Adelaide Edge Rotary Club.
Sports: The Tigers are the American League champions, beating the mighty rich Yankees three of four and sweeping Oakland in a very dramatic fashion with a home run in the bottom of the 9th inning. They wait for either the Cardinals or the Mets in the World Series.
Howell upset previously unbeaten South Lyon.
Michigan won against Penn State. U of M is #2 in one ranking.
The Lions won their first game of the season against Buffalo.
Then there is Michigan State, which lost its 4th in a row, this time to #1 Ohio State.
I saw Stewart Christian last week. He continues his therapy which he hopes will destroy the growth on his brain. We wish you the best, Stu!
