No meeting next week. Memorial Day.
Howell Rotary Youth Exchange. We have a student named Yuya Yasuda from Gifu, Japan. He is 16 years old. He is interested in Japanese history, especially the Civil War era. He also rides his bicycle to school each day for 50 minutes each way.
We need 3 host families for Yuya during the exchange year. Please contact Max Rumbaugh at maxrum3@sbcglobal.net for more information.

May 31st. Brighton Rotary will present its annual Lip Synch from 7 p.m. to 8:30. This will be at the Brighton Center for the Performing Arts at the high school, just off Brighton Road. Howell's own Carol Griffith, Pat Convery, and Barb Barden will be among the featured performers singing their favorite songs. Tickets are $20, available by calling 810-227-5086.
June 13th. Fowlerville Rotary hosts its annual golf outing, starting at 8 a.m. at Oak Lane in Webberville (turn north at the light - there is only one light - drive a mile to the course). The fee is $75. Get a foursome together and enjoy golf, food and prizes.
