Today, June 2, 2008: Milt Sandling has invited Linda Alice Dewey to speak.  Linda is the president of the Kassel, Germany, Mission Historical Society, which is a non-profit international organization dedicated to memorializing the disastrous air battle between the 445th (General Jimmy Stewart's original bomb group) and the entire Luftwaffe in 1944.  On that day, the 445th  suffered the greatest loss in history of any from one airfield on a single day.  It was covered up at the time.  This "bomber massacre" belongs in the history books next to "Custer's Last Stand" and "Pearl Harbor."  KMHS erected a memorial in Germany to the men from both sides who died that day.
