Today, July 24, 2006: Now this sounds like an interesting program. David Betcher has given us only a hint: "Ohana Karate." Are we breaking cement blocks? Smashing apart the podium? Whatever the result, we look forward to satisfying our curiosity.

The Fundraising Committee meets today at 11 a.m.

The Steering Committee meets at Cleary's on Thursday at Noon.

Next Monday. Lori Blough's program is entitled "Vision Quest."

Special: "Children at Church"

1. A Sunday school teacher asked her little children, as they were on the way to church service, "And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?" One bright little girl replied, "Because people are sleeping." (This is NOT for Pastor Jeff!)

2. Six-year old Angie and her four-year-old brother Joel were sitting together in church. Joel giggled and talked out loud. Finally his big sister whispered to him, "You're not supposed to talk out loud in church."
"Who is going to stop me?" Joel asked.
Angie pointed to the back of the church. "See those two men standing by the door? They're hushers."
