Create Lasting Impact by Joining a Committee!
One of the best ways to get even more out of your Rotary membership is to get involved beyond our weekly meeting. As we begin a new Rotary year, we'd love to invite every member to consider joining one of our Club Committees. Whether you're passionate about improving literacy, sharing Rotary's story with our community, or rolling up your sleeves to serve others, there's a place for you!
Current committee opportunities include:
Literacy Committee-Chair: Barbara Smith
Public Image Committee- Chair: Rachel Estelle
Service Committee- Chair: Jim Galezewski
No special experience is required…just a willingness to help make a difference. Whether you have a few hours each month or would like to take on a larger role, we'd love to have you involved! If you are interested in serving on one of these committees, please speak with the committee chair before or after a meeting or send them an email. Together, we can continue to Create Lasting Impact throughout Howell and beyond!
Summer Service Project!
The Rotary District Governor asked all local clubs in Michigan to become involved with providing food assistance to the local food pantries between July 1st and August 6th, dropping food supplies to a local food pantry by August 6.
The Club's Service Project Committee will make surethatboxes areavailableattheRotary meetings for food collection on July 6, 13, 20, 27 and August 3. All members are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the meetings for drop-off in the boxes.
The Howell Club’s collection will be donated to St. Joseph Church’s Food Pantry, which serves Howell. Drop off is on Thursday, August 6 from 10 am until noon. Volunteers are asked to deliver the collected/purchased food to St. Joseph Pantry, on August 6th, stay for the photo-op, and perhaps donate some time that day to help with projects between 10 am and noon.

At Last Week's Meeting…
Last week we had the pleasure of hearing from Deputy William Belanger who started the mission of Riding Toward Success, a local nonprofit dedicated to providing new bicycles and helmets to hardworking children in need of a helping hand. Thank you, Deputy Belanger, for sharing how this meaningful program is making a positive impact in the lives of local youth.
Our second speaker was Howell's Mayor, Nikolas Hertrich, who shared all the great and impactful changes coming to our town!
Thank you to both our speakers!
Volunteer Opportunities are now open for Melon Ice Cream!

Do you know someone who lives, works, learns, or plays in our community and lives by Service Above Self? Invite them to join us for lunch and discover how Rotary changes lives!
This year, our goal is to grow our club to 55 members.
Why?
Because every new Rotarian brings new ideas, new talents, new friendships, and a greater capacity to serve. The stronger our membership, the greater our ability to make a lasting impact in Howell, across the world, and in the lives of those who need us most.
If someone comes to mind, share our Prospective New Member Application and encourage them to take the first step toward becoming part of our Rotary family. Together, we can grow our club ... and our impact!
