Join the Howell Rotary Club in supporting The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign — a long-standing holiday tradition that brings hope to individuals and families in need throughout our community.
As a bell ringer, you’ll help raise vital funds that provide food, shelter, and essential services for local residents during the winter months and beyond. It’s a simple act that makes a big difference!
What to Expect:
-
A kettle and bell will be waiting at your assigned location.
-
Please arrive a few minutes early for your shift and greet customers with a warm smile and holiday cheer.
-
If you’re the last shift of the day, leave the bell and apron at the base of the kettle for Salvation Army staff to collect.
-
Dress warmly—kettle sites are outdoors. Wear layers and comfortable, weatherproof shoes.
-
Please refrain from smoking, eating, or personal cell phone use during your shift.
If you experience any issues or notice your kettle is getting full, contact Lieutenant Robert Leach at 517-610-9831 (please allow 15 minutes for driver response before calling).
Together, we can make the season brighter for our neighbors in need. Thank you for representing Rotary and for your service above self!
