Speaker for Monday December 7, 2015

At Monday’s Dec. 7^th meeting, we will be hosting the AdvancED External Review Team for the Howell Public Schools.  We will be part of the process that the school system goes through to retain their District Accreditation. Their last visit was in February of 2011.  There will be six individuals joining us from 12:00-12:30 for our meal and will sit at each of the tables with the Rotary members.  They will be looking for dialogue regarding what people like in our school system, what we would like to change, and the Points of Pride for Howell schools, students and our community.  This is a great opportunity for us to share how we as the Howell Rotary Club and as business & industry leaders support the school system (Interact club, scholarships, overseas study programs, etc.), what areas we support, and the challenges and opportunities we see for growth in the district. They will be leaving us at 12:30 for another meeting and we will resume our club activities at that time.
