This week, the word is "Konichiwa". This means "Good Day" similar to "Hello". The next time you see our exchange student, Yuya Yasuda, give him a warm konichiwa!
Blood Drive
It turns out that Howell Rotary is tied with the Sunrise club for number of members that have donated blood, well ahead of the Brighton club. Which club will give the most? There is still today to put Howell Rotary on top! Bleed Rotarians!
Rotary Golf by Fred Woodhams
We played golf last Friday. Rick and Fred had a 75, Harry and Herb a 77 (we think). Unfortunately, we needed 10 golfers to qualify for the trophy. We are - of course - a working man's club, so many of our players were at the office. Those who played enjoyed a beautiful day and good company.

Saturday morning a group of Howell Rotarians met at 8 a.m. at Mt. Brighton to mark over 100 miles of pavement around the county in preparation for the Tour de Livingston. Thanks to these Rotarians for making the ride safer for our riders: Brent Earl, Peter Bowen, Cliff Miller, Bruce McCullen, David Yanga, Jeff Hansen, Ron Hingst, and Jim Gilligan. Way to go team!
With the online registrations rolling in, we could easily end up with over 200 riders. This is shaping up to be the most successful Howell Rotary fund raiser ever!
