Today, March 5: Joel Bussell of the Rotary Fellowship Peace and Conflict Studies will introduce us to this great program.

Next week Dr. Sam Vasiu will bring three of his associates along to discuss the latest in medical procedures now being offered in Livingston County.

Also next week the Board of Directors meets. The time is tentatively set for 11 am, before the general meeting.

Don't forget to support your fellow Rotary Kegglers who will be bowling for Big Brothers and Big Sisters on this Saturday, March 12 from 10-12 Noon. Please make a pledge if you are not bowling. The bowling team would certainly appreciate some supporters cheering them on as well. Let's all help event chair Dan Murdock make this the best one yet!

Golf season is just around the corner as well as time to sell those golf discount cards from our fundraising committee.

Our Berkley Rotary Club member Barry Blauer has been walking his posterior off raising money for Breast cancer. There is a benefit he is organizing on Thursday April 12 at Mark Ridley's Comedy Castle in Royal Oak. Doors open at 6 P.M. Dinner is at 6:30 P.M. and the show starts at 8 P.M. The price is $25.00. Tickets may be purchased in advance by calling Barry Blauer at (248) 515-8652 or Mike Ridley's Comedy Castle. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Our club has decided to attend this event for several reasons. We want to support our members. It's a great cause. It's a perfect fellowship event to be with our friends and families. We encourage and ask our brother and sister clubs to consider attending as well.

Volunteers Needed:
The Economic Development Council is in need of area professionals to volunteer to help with registration, booth coverage assistance (for breaks, etc.) as needed and general assistance for the upcoming Job Fair on April 18th.  They're asking volunteers to donate ~ 2 hours or they could stay the entire time if they choose.  If they do stay all day, the EDC will include lunch as well. We need Greeters and "direction givers", people to relieve vendors for needed breaks and general help.  Any help will be greatly appreciated.
