Today, October 23, 2006: Stan Latreille has invited Melissa Scharrer, the Livingston County Friend of the Court, to speak.
The Steering Committee meeting slated for this Thursday is being rescheduled. Date to be announced.
Next week, October 30, Chris Klinke will speak on Summiting Everest.
The first Monday in November, the 6th, Sarah Heddon - our Ambassadorial Scholar, will talk about her experiences in Kenya.

You probably did not know this:
In the 16th Century people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May and still smelled pretty good in June. However, they were just beginning to ripen, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to mask the body odor. Hence, the custom of carrying a bouquet when getting married. And you thought that FTD devised another way to sell flowers! Like Sweetest Day!
How many can listen to the Tigers games on the radio? Most stations have too much static. Go back to WJR. At least we could listen.
