Howell High School beat South Lyon to win its first Kensington Valley football championship (tied with Novi) since 1993. Congratulations to Coach Webb and his team.
Former Rotary president and current school superintendent Chuck Breiner is constantly under fire from various individuals and groups. Now he faces someone who wants to get on the board of education to "humiliate" Chuck. Along with fellows from the so-called LOVE organization, who want to bring decency back into the schools while eliminating controversial books, this candidate is quite set against Chuck and anyone who might have the audacity to support him. As Rotarians, we must support our board of education and our superintendent and be wary of such LOVEly proposals.
