Today, November 7, 2005:Â Jay Drick has invited Tom Newton, the top assistant of the MSU men's ice hockey team.
New Week: Shea Charles is the program chair.
November 21: Pat Convery's progam will feature Don Cortez, co-owner of First Impressions Printing and Graphics, who spent a week in October in Mississippi doing hurricane relief. He will relate his experiences of this important mission.

Birdie Day Ball Drop: Gleaners is sponsoring a "ball drop" to help restock Gleaners Community Food Bank Shelves. Golf balls will be dropped from a heliocopter and the five closest to the pin will each win $1000. You may purchase a ball for $25 and help feed many of our neediest citizens.  The Drop occurs on November 20.
Football: State lost again, this time to Purdue. Remember, Sparties, that hockey season is here and that basketball season starts soon.
Tomorrow is Election Day throughout the state for municipal offices. Be sure to vote!  If the following candidates were running, which One would you vote for?  Â
Candidate A associated with crooked politicians, consulted with astrologists, had two mistresses, chain smoked, and drank 8-9 martinis a day.
2. Candidate B was kicked out of office twice, slept until noon, used opium, and smoked 8 cigars a day.
3. Candidate C was a decorated war hero, a vegetarian, did not smoke, drank an occasional beer, never cheated on his wife.
The answer will be presented at Monday's meeting.
