Today, Monday, November 21, 2005: Pat Convery has invited Don Cortez to speak of his experiences in Mississippi as a part of the hurricane relief effort.Â

Football: The football season ended miserably for U-M and State fans. Ohio State beat Michigan while State lost again, this time to Penn State. Congratulations to Joe Paterno, who just won his 2nd Big Ten championship, at age 79!Â
Signs of the Times: Have you noticed the new signs around town? Thank Amy Connolly, the DDA Director and fellow Rotarian. Not only are these signs informational, they are very attractive.
Thursday and Friday. Just in case you missed the news, Thursday is Thanksgiving and Friday is the Festival of Lights parade in downtown Howell. Think of it - turkey, family, bands, floats, runners, and a festive atmosphere. What a week!
