Membership. For a couple years our membership was growing. Now it appears we are losing many members without replacing them. Several have dropped out very quietly. Others are not attending. You must help replenish our membership with good, active people. Here are some who are no longer attending or attending infrequently: Mary Ellen Ahmad, Puneet Chandra, Valde Garcia, Don Greene (he is moving north), Kendra Kaminsky, Arvid Northrup, Dan Hutcheson, Chuck Kraegel, and Chuck Breiner.
May 3 Millage: People are lining up on whether to pass a 3-mill levy to raise 20 million for school operations in the county. Some feel that decreasing costs (the benefit package, for instance) is a solution to the money problems. Others think that the growing school districts will require more money to meet the demand. If any Rotarian would like to line up a program to debate this issue, the members would be eager to listen.
Why the English Language is Hard to Learn:
