Jan Clay is bringing the Hutchings School singers to entertain us today at the request of John Clay.
Antiques Appraisal: Carol writes: "The antique appraisal fair was a huge success thanks to the many Rotarians that volunteered their time and efforts. I am sure that Jeri slept much better last night just knowing all of the hard work and organization is completed and Dave McCarron did show up!
The refreshments were a nice touch this year thanks to the efforts of the fundraising committee: Barb Barden, Jeanne Clum, Peter and the Interact Members.
In all we estimate a net profit of $1100. The entire community will benefit from the efforts of the Rotary Membership.
Our Ambassadorial Scholar: Megan Gilshire spoke to our club earlier this year. Now she is settled in New Zealand and wants to share her experience with us. You can download her report complete with gorgeous photos here.

Howell High School Scholarship Dinner: From Peter: "Thursday night I had the honor of attending this dinner to hand out the Howell Rotary/Ladner Scholarship. This year's recipient is Michelle Dzierwa. Michelle's achievements include Honor Roll, Solo Ensemble Award, Wind Ensemble Award, Howell Band Letter, Interact Club Certificate, Perfect attendance Certificate. She participated in Marching Band, Pep Band, Ballet, and Music while working part time at Big Lots and Kroger. She plans to attend Eastern Michigan University in the fall to study Psychology. Her goal is to receive her doctorate in Child Psychology."
Rotary Youth Exchange: From Nelson Edwards:
Hello everyone, please, we are past the deadline and still have two students to host. If someone does not step up the packets will have to be returned and these very good exchange students will not get a chance. I am not expecting any other student packets to arrive this year. Please consider hosting either girl, one is from India and the other is from Kyrgyzstan.
Now is the time.
