Today we meet at Howell High School to honor the Interact Club and the Top Ten scholars for the Class of 2006. Peter Bowen reports that we will also have several staff and school administrators there, including Chuck Breiner, president of our club about five years ago.
Members should park in the circle drive visitor lot near the flag pole in front of the high school. We will have lunch just outside the auditorium - not the cafeteria. Our regular caterer will be serving the food.

Upcoming Events:
May 20 is the Antiques Appraisal at the 1st National Bank. This is an outstanding event to observe. Bring an antique for appraisal (no, not your husband!).
May 22: John Clay is bringing his wife, Jan, who is bringing many of Hutchins Elementary School's finest singers. This will be a treat for all of us.
May 25: The Steering Committee will meet at Cleary's for lunch and discussion. All Rotarians are welcome.
May 29: Memorial Day. No meeting.
June 5: Mike Hall is chairman.
June 12: Annual Dinner. No Noon meeting.
June 19: The board meeting has been changed to the 3rd Monday this month only to accommodate the Annual Dinner. Also the meeting will start after the regular membership meeting. Assistant Governor Lynda Chase will be in attendance to help with our 2006 - 2007 club plan.
Welcome to Jeff Hansen, our newest member, who was inducted last Monday.
When you have the opportunity, you might just tell President Carol and President-elect Jim Gilligan "This is a job well done." They have led the changes in Rotary for the past year with care and foresight. At the same time, you can pat Kim Dane on the back too. She has really made some significant improvements in the Membership Committee.
