Today, March 7, 2005: Carol Griffith and Harry Griffith are speaking about the real estate market in Howell and in Livingston County. There is a rumor floating about that Harry has already written his epitaph: "He always wanted to be in real estate" Now that is just a rumor.

Ever So Often think about thanking people for the work they do in Rotary: President Jeff, Song Leader (and humor specialist) Don, Secretary Amy, Treasurer Greg, Newsletter makers Fred and Jim, and those leading various activities, such as Mike Hall with the Bowling for Big Brothers/Big Sisters. There are many who help to have helped to make this club an important part of the community.

St. Patrick's Day is coming up next week. In addition to the jokes coming from Mr. O'Williams, here is one:

Mary Clancy is in tears when she speaks with Father O'Grady. "What is bothering you, Mary?" he asks.
"Oh, Father, I've got terrible news. My husband passed away last night."

Father O'Grady says, "Oh, Mary, that is awful. But tell me, did he have any last requests?"
She says, "That he did, Father..."
The priest says, "What did he ask, Mary?"
She says, "He said, 'Please Mary, put down that damn gun!'
