ROTARY DISTRICT 6380 MEMBERSHIP BLITZ

Greetings Rotarians, all District Governors in Zone 22 have been asked by Rotary Internationals Director Monty Audenart to participate in a membership recruitment Blitz in April, 2008. Please find attached a flyer that I received this week with a request for me to forward to all clubs in District 6380 and to the districts membership committee members.

RIP Wilf has made membership growth one of the corner stones of his theme, Rotary Shares. RIP Wilf gave us the tools by organizing seven membership conferences across the US and Canada and he took seven weekends to attend every one of the conferences. President Wilf is committed to helping our districts be successful with increasing membership.

RID Monty and his membership team would like to give a boost to RIP Wilfs goal by having a two week membership Blitz across all of the districts in Zone 22.

District 6380 membership chair PDG Gerry Jackson and I ask for your support in supporting the membership Blitz.

We have great leaders in all 53 Rotary clubs in D6380 and I know that I can count on the Presidents and their teams to support this membership Blitz. I ask you to please start planning now.

Please communicate with PDG Gerry and myself what your club plans to do to support the Blitz. What help or information do you need? We also have 6 sector membership coordinators who are very knowledgeable and willing to help the clubs in their respective sectors. Give them a call.

Can we count on your Support?
1.Club Presidents to commit to holding at least one membership event in the first two weeks of April
2.Promote the Blitz in your clubs newsletter and website
3.Everyone to personally recruit one new member during April
4.Suggest a location of a new club to PDG Gerry Jackson district 6380s membership & extension chair

I know that majority of the clubs in D6380 have been focusing on membership throughout the year and we have seen the results of your efforts. Thank you for your focus on membership.

You can find a wealth of information on membership development, retention, and extension on the membership pages at www.rotary.org or directly at:
http://www.rotary.org/en/Members/GeneralInformation/MembershipResources/Pages/ridefault.aspx

This membership Blitz is a collective effort from coast to coast. Lets have fun as we focus have a Blitz and increase membership in D6380.

Thank you for all you are doing for Rotary, your community and the world.

Go District 6380!

Governor Audrey
