Welcome to Springtime!  Yes, today is the first day of spring.  With that good news, you should also know that Kathy Zaenger, our Howell District Librarian, is also the program chair.  Her topic: The Library Improvement Program.

In addition, Fred Woodhams will present Jeanne Clum's bio.

Our new Fund Raising Committee, co-chaired by Barb Barden and Cathy Rea Dunning, will have their first meeting at 11:00 in the Community Room.

This week includes the Interact 5K Run at Howell High School on Saturday, March 25.

The Steering Committee will meet at noon Thursday at Cleary's to discuss the direction of the club.  All Rotarians are welcome.

President-Elect Jim Gilligan will be attending the President Elect Training Seminar, Great Lakes Rotary P.E.T.S., in Kalamazoo from Thursday evening through noon on Saturday. A big commitment!

Did you see the front page of the LCPA on Tuesday?  There practically dominating the page was a picture of our own Stan Latreille.  Why would the paper put Stan's picture so prominently on the front page?  Well, he is running again for judge.  Congratulations, Stan!   (Now the other reason might be that it was a very slow news day, but we won't mention that!)

More big news: John Fellows is a new grandfather!  Another reason for applause.

Some sad news: Father Gilbert Rahrig, the long-time priest at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, died.  His funeral will be Friday.
