Today, March 2, 2009: Today's program is called Rotary International, perhaps to highlight many of Rotary's projects overseas.

Next Week: Max Rumbaugh has spearheaded the effort to bring an exchange student to Howell.  Yuya Yasuda is that student.  He will talk about his home in Anpachi in the Gifi Province and his life in Japan.

March 9, 11 am, Howell Rotary Board meeting.

March 16:  Membership and Fundraising Breakout sessions.

March 23:  Vaughn Oswalt is the program chair.  His topic is Automotive History.

The Bowling Team is seeking another bowler for the annual Bowlathon to assist Big Brothers and Big Sisters.  Have gutter ball, will travel.

From all reports the Wine and Cheese get-together resulted in great fun and a busy time with Rotarians and many others.  Thanks to Jeanne Clum, who promoted this event into the success it was.  Thanks Jeanne.

We usually don't do Blonde Jokes, but we are celebrating the arrival of March: Did you hear of the blonde who:

a) was trapped on an escalator because the power was off?

b) learned that the capital of California is C.

c) completed the jigsaw puzzle in six months even though box said "2-4 years."

That is all, folks.
