Club President Jeff Hansen accepted two Presidential Citations awarded to our club from outgoing Assistant District Governor Jim Gilmore. One citation was for the performance of our club over this Rotary year, including the highest net gain in membership of any club in the county! The other citation was for our Interact Club. Jim also introduced incoming Assistant Governor, Brenda Ochidnicky. Good luck Jim and Brenda! Way to go Howell Rotary!
President Elect Jeanne Clum introduced Ganiah Hinton, here with her mom, Candye. Ganiah represented Howell in the recent Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA)
Ganiah Hinton made a nice presentation about her experience at RYLA in Canada. Next she would like to be a Rotary Exchange student. Eventually she wants to become a surgeon and then travel with Doctors Without Borders doing aid work!
