Today, July 31, 2006: Lori Blough's program today is called Vision Quest. There is a Board Meeting at 1 p.m.

August 14: City Park Picnic. This is a beautiful place for lunch and conversation.

August 21: Catherine Rae Dunning is program chair.

August 24: Steering Committee meets.

August 28: The District Governor, Gerry Jackson, will speak at Rotary.

Charley Itsell

There was a good article in the LCPA about Rotarian Charley Itsell. Charley, who is very well known to the Howell community, is now at Oak Haven and?plans to sell his historic home on Grand River, a house built in the 19th Century and "always owned by an Itsell." What will go in its place? An auto parts store! A historic home replaced by an auto parts store is the saddest type of "progress."
