MONDAY'S PROGRAM:
Monday we'll welcome Gregg Grainger to speak about the "Faith of Holland".
Gregg will share his family's life-altering story of a 4 1/2 year around the world trip, putting all their lives into perspective. This should be a most interesting and informative program.
MONDAY'S BOARD MEETING:
The Board will meet at 11 a.m. just prior to Monday's meeting.
OTHER ITEMS:
Balloonfest Parking – Thanks to everyone who helped park cars or worked security as the Balloonfest. We raised over $450 to help support youth mentorship programs for Big Brothers Big Sisters! Great job by Candy Jones Guerin; thanks for taking the lead and coordinating, too.

Wednesday, July 21st at noon at Mt. Brighton. All are invited to come grab a hot dog and chips and help us further plan this year's event.
Day of Caring – August 18
We're looking for a cheerleader willing to champion the cause to recruit Howell Rotary volunteers to assist with the upcoming Livingston County United Way 9th Annual Day of Caring. We've generally worked an a.m. shift together as a club, in a Howell-area location. Please let Jeanne Clum, jclum@lcunitedway.org, know if you're able to coordinate.
Melon Ice Cream – August 20-22.
Sandy Cortez is looking for someone's help as the volunteer coordinator for Melon Ice Cream sales. She's got a great spreadsheet with those already signed up and slots still open. Needs help filling in the blanks, however. Please let either Sandie Cortez, sandie@fipprint.com, or Patti Griffith, pgriffith@fnbsite.com.
RECAP OF JULY 12, 2010 MEETING
Last weeks meeting was Jeanne Clum's first meeting as the club's 86th president. She started the meeting by saying "she is honored to move forward with such a great group."
Jeanne appreciates all the surveys we filled out and shared some of the responses from those.
One thing many of us mentioned was Rotary Moment where a members name is drawn from a hat at each meeting and that member will share a little about themselves with the rest of the group.
Many of us also mentioned focusing and getting involved with the youth as well as strengthing our weekly programs.
We had commitee sign up, thanks to all who sigend up to help with a commitee
