Howell Rotary Youth Exchange 

Yuya Yasuda is coming from Gifu, Japan.  He is 16 years old and is an excellent student.  He is currently interested in Engineering as his direction in college.  He also rides his bicycle to school each day for 50 minutes each way.  Yuya will be coming this school year and we need some more host families.  This is an exciting way to learn about other cultures and help a student learn about America.  I have experienced this from both aspects; the student and the host family and they are wonderful experiences.   He will stay with each host family for 3 months and be a part of your family.

Wear Your Pin EVERY DAY

Do you carry Rotary to your vocation?

How about a simple way to do this...Do you wear your Rotary pin on your lapel EVERY DAY? Or just on Fridays and at Rotary events?

Think about it: we know you are a Rotarian so wearing it only at Rotary events is kind of redundant.

How about if we start wearing our pin every day and see if we can make it a habit.

Be proud to be a Rotarian and take the opportunity to explain Rotary to those you come in contact with every day in your business dealings.

Resources for club committees

As the new Rotary year begins, thousands of Rotarians begin their involvement with a club committee. 

It's through the work of club committees that a Rotary club provides service to its community, retains members, and develops leaders for the club, district, and Rotary International only when its operations are efficient.

Club committees are charged with carrying out the club's long-range and annual goals. Each Rotary club has different needs and will establish committees to suit them. Read more about club committees
