President Carol says:

Each month Rotary has a theme which provides direction and focus for our club members.  January is Rotary Awareness Month.  Our members need to talk to the community about the good acts of Rotary.  We need to invite members of the community to lunch.  It is time to let people know about our charitable programs, community involvement, scholarships, and our work toward International Peace and the eradication of polio.

Our members are outstanding community leaders who continually give without expecting recognition.  How do you think it might affect our membership if we let the public know just how much Rotarians are involved in our community?

The Membership Committee is now asking for your help.  If you would identify some good Rotary candidates, the Committee will invite them for you.  We will make the guests feel comfortable and introduce them to the membership.  Speak to Kim Dane, our membership chair.

The Steering Committe is now finishing work on our new Fundraising Commitee. The next Steering Committee meeting is this Thursday at noon at Cleary's. All members are welcome to attend.
