Next Week Beth Duman will bring us an update on the status of the Wolf in Michigan.

NOTICE:   Board Meeting, January 26th at 11:00 a.m.

The Scholarship Committee is headed up by John Fellows. Howell H.S. will be forwarding all scholarship applications for the committees review on March 17, 2009. To save paper the application will be forwarded by email. The committee will have until April 17, 2009, to pick a recipient. The winner must be submitted to the Counselors Office by April 17th, 2009, by John Fellows. A member of this committee is required to attend the High School Scholarship evening program and present the Rotary Scholarship. A draft of the letter that is given to the winner has been forwarded to John Fellows. Thanks to all committee members that help with this donation to a worthy Howell High School Student!

A Note from Jim Gilmore IV:
USA HOST PLANS FOR AUSTRALIA GSE GUESTS TO D6380

OK folks.looks like we have them to ourselves (I lobbied hard for a Sector 10 Only greeting and got it based on our performance last year, so we have them to ourselves from arrival Tuesday thru Sunday transfer) so we need to make sure we WOW them again.
We need a committee and will meet soon to put together the info I need to submit by the end of this month.
I recommend we do the combined lunch on Friday meeting like last year (the 17th).that was a great event.
Biggest items we need right now is HOSTR families and an idea of events considering the backgrounds of the Aussie Team.

Each Club will need to provide committee volunteers that would serve on this committee.  On Monday, January 12th, Jeff Hansen will be asking for volunteers or email Jeff Hansen or Kim Dane if you are interested.  Your emails will be provided to Jim Gilmore who is leading this initiative.   Planning meeting will begin in the next 10 days.
