IMPORTANT: Monday's meeting will be held at the Howell Chamber of Commerce building, 123 E. Washington St. Please park in the parking lot behind the post office or in the City of Howell lot on the corner of McCarthy / Sibley Streets. Thanks to Pat and her staff for giving us a place to meet on Monday.
"Impacting Our Local Youth" will be our program with Patti Griffith as chair. Representatives from our Rotary-sponsored cub scout group will talk about their activities, and Shari Davis-Schoech, Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters will talk about how our support assists at-risk youth in the community.
A HUGE thank you to everyone who helped at the Livingston County United Way's Day of Caring on Wednesday.what a great day! Our crew, along with the team from First Impression Print & Marketing, helped a local woman with yard work, interior cleaning and much more. We truly made a difference in this woman's life. Thanks to Peter and Ron for coordinating.
Another HUGE thank you to everyone who is helping with Melon Ice Cream Sales this weekend; it will be a great time. The funds raised from this weekend will cover our club's commitment for all our youth-related programming for the year. Whew! Sandie Cortez and Patti Griffith have been quite the dynamic duo on this - kudos and thanks!

Last Weeks Meeting
CONGRATULATIONS to Kim Dane and Jeff Blagg whom were Paul Harris recipients, Kim and Jeff were both recognized by Gov Janet McPeek at the meeting. Kim's grandfather was also a Paul Harris winner.
Rotary Moment
Tim Shamoun(Scooter) has been the proud owner of Village Market in downtown Howell since 2004, he is even a prouder owner of Lucifer whom he says is the best dog in the world. Tim comes from a large family with two loving parents who punished him often, deservingly he adds. Tim joined the Rotary because of the strong involvement and commitment from its members. Tim's scooter badge was bestowed on him as a result of him being the youngest member.

Chad and his wife with their 11 month old beautiful daughter Jillian recently moved to Howell. Chad is a dentist working with Dr. David Betcher.
