Aug 24 Bulletin
At our meeting August 24th, Greg Clum has invited Rick Terres from the Howell Public Schools to speak about all matters financial dealing the school. This should be very interesting considering the possible decrease in state aid for education.
Howell Rotarians once again stepped up to the "Service Above Self Plate" and joined hundreds of Livingston Volunteers on Wed. August 19th for the United Way Day of Caring.
Led by United Way Board Member and Howell Rotarian Peter Bowen, Howell Rotarians Pat Convery and her able bodied Chamber Staff, Pattie Griffith, Steve Manor and Ron Hingst, the Rotarians cleaned the yard and tidied up a house of a woman unable to help herself.
Also setting the "Service Above Self" bar was our President Jeff Hansen along Dave Bagwell, Kim Dane and others who helped make the annual Melon Festival a success.
"Melon Ice Cream" remains on sale by contacting Pat Convery at the Chamber.
Go Melon Heads!
Tour De Livingston planning continues and if you have not signed up to volunteer...please do so!!!!
