Today April 9, 2007: Our meeting is a Club Assembly. A time to discuss club business and meet with our respective committees.
Immediately following the Board of Directors meets.
The Fundraising Committee meets next Monday at 11:00.
Have you registered for the INTERACT 5k Run/Walk on April 21? If you aren't up for running or walking, there's still plenty of need for volunteers.

Did you know April is THE ROTARIAN magazine month?? Do you know when the first issue was printed?
THE NATIONAL ROTARIAN was issued in January 1911. It was to be a one-time publication, but was so popular, that at the Convention in August of that year it was unanimously endorsed. When Rotary went International in September 1912, the name was changed to THE ROTARIAN and has continued to spread the word on what a great organization Rotary is.
You might consider ordering a subscription for your local library and for your Interact and Rotaract clubs.
When you read your April issue, our DG Gerry is featured on pages 13-14!! District 6380 makes the news! Don't miss it!
More District 6380 folks are highlighted in the April issue. On page 54, PRIP Luis Giay, Foundation Chair, remembers PDG Richard Pearce (Governor 84-85) and his wife Lois, for their walk across the entire width of Canada from White Rock, B.C. to Halifax, N. S. to raise awareness of The Rotary Foundation. They covered 3,768 miles in 260 days! They were honored by being named one of 75 Candles on Rotary's 75th 'Anniversary Cake.'
If you keep reading your April ROTARIAN (as I did) you will find that the Farmington Rotary Club was mentioned in the same article as DG Gerry and Steve Chang, President of the Waterford Rotary Club is quoted in a different article on page 15, which has excellent suggestions for new Rotary leaders to review. Take note, Presidents-Elect , July 1 is fast approaching!!
