There is a Club Assembly today. People will meet with their various committees. Remember, if you did not sign up for a committee, you were assigned.
For our bio, Derek Rose will present Brent Earl.
Jeri McKeon-Andersen is preparing for the Antiques Appraisal coming on May 20 from 10-3 at the First National Bank. This is one of the most fascinating events at any time. One person brought in a painting that had been hanging on the wall for years. She just wanted to see if it was worth something. It was. It was worth $150,000! Jeri needs some more help. It a great event to watch, too.

April 8: Cots (District Assembly) is being held. Jim Gilligan is planning to attend and would enjoy a companion.
April 10: Marilyn Emerson has invited Janet Loesche, the director of Livingston Family Center. She will talk about "The Connection," the new emergency teen center in Howell.
There is a Rotary Board meeting at 11 am.
April 17: John Fellows has asked State Police Trooper Mike Sura to speak on "Identity Theft! One Rotarian's Experience."
April 24: Tom Lawrence is the program chair.
April 27: The Steering Committee meets at Cleary's at Noon.
The Flags
Have you been following the crazy episode of the Diversity Flag and its new companion, the Traditional Values flag (which just happens to have a Cross on it). Well, the TV people think the Diversity people's flag is a Gay Pride flag. Now the traditional values (apparently an ultra conservation group) has formed a PAC to support its candidates for the school board. In addition, they have label themselves the LOVES organization. It should be a most interesting election with these people trying to push themselves on the board so that they can - at last - establish some traditional values in the school. You can use your imagination to define what these "traditional values" are.
