Rotarian Debbie Mikula announces that the Parks and Recreation Authority is interested in forming a Bicycle Club in Howell to "get folks out-of-doors to enjoy good exercise, fresh air and camaraderie while touring the local neighborhoods, parks, and countryside from April to October." This is not a competitive riding group, rather a group of individuals of various ages and abilities that come together to enjoy group cycling. An introductory meeting at the Barnard Community Center is Thursday, April 23, at 7 p.m. Tom and Ruth Austin have agreed to lead the meeting and find out if there is any interest in forming a club.
President Kim says, "Let the club know I am feeling better every day. I am now able to check email (for only an hour). I am hopeful that I will return May 11 for the Interact meeting at the High School.
