The Howell Rotary Club will meet on Monday, October 3rd, 2011 for lunch at 12:00 in the Community Room at St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospital on Byron Rd. in Howell.
Our program will be a presentation by Club member Ron Wilson, Superintendent of the Howell Public Schools.
Our condolences go out to Jeanne Clum and her family over the loss of Jeanne’s sister, Cheryl Andrews Harris. I had the pleasure of meeting Cheryl a few months ago. She was so enthusiastic about Howell and the people she was getting to know. Cheryl helped with the Melon Ice Cream sales and with preparing the puree. Her bright, positive personality will be missed.

Our program last week was a presentation by Club Member Tim Shamoun featuring his Alaskan Trip to the north slope of the Brooks Range. We viewed photos of majestic panoramas of the Alaskan mountains, wildlife, rapid rivers, ice and a group of adventurers having a wonderful time in the wilds of Alaska. Thanks, Tim for sharing with us.
Club President Steve spen a few minutes with a power point presentation of some of the last portion Governor Youtz’ video that we did not see the previous week due to time constraints.
Thank You For Volunteering to work the Tour de Livingston. We will spend a few minutes this meeting reviewing last minute details for our October 9 Tour de Livingston. Many thanks to all of you who have already stepped forward and put you name on the sheet for a job at the Tour de Livingston.
