Visit by District Governor Ulf bingsgård

This morning, we are delighted to have our district governor Ulf Bingsgård join our meeting and share his vision of Rotary for the year 2020-2021.

Ulf Bingsgård has been a distinguished Rotary member since December 2006 and joined his home Club Trelleborg-S: t Nicolai Rotary Club in March 2015. In the Rotary year 2017-2018, he held the position as president for his home club, followed by being the assistant governor for our district 2390 in the year after (2018-2019).

Within his term as district governor, Ulf Bingsgård adopted the theme that "Rotary ska vara SKOJ" (Rotary should be FUN), which involves the three guiding principles community relevancy, communication, and equality.  "I see the power, enthusiasm, and commitment that exists in the clubs and their members. Channel the power of the clubs. Together we can show the power of Rotary".

We are looking forward to having an interactive discussion on this theme with our District Governor as well as raising the question to each one of us what Rotary means and could mean to us individually, on club, district, and international level.
