  • Career guidance and matchmaking through soccer - is that possible? - Karin Heri - National coordinator employability at Swedish Soccer League/ Head of CSR at MFF

Karin Heri will take you on a journey starting in Malmö 2013 leading up to the initiative now being scaled nationwide in Sweden through a collaboration between the member owned Swedish Professional Soccer League and the Public Employment Service. Listen to the substantial outcome from this collaboration between a club, its sponsors and the public sector. Together they have proven that stakeholders from different sectors can gather around a challenge in the society and come up with creative solutions that the target group, the club, its sponsors and the municipality can benefit from. WIN-WIN-WIN-WIN.

Karin Heri works since 6 years for Malmö FF, the most successful professional soccer club in Sweden, as Head of Malmö FF in the community where she amongst other, is leading the clubs initiatives against unemployment and racism. Besides this she has an assignment as National coordinator for employability at the Swedish professional soccer league helping other Swedish professional clubs in their collaboration with the public employment service and municipalities. She is currently scaling the Malmö FF initiative "careerday with soccer" to other clubs in the Swedish professional league. She has a never-ending engagement for collaboration between public, private and third sector.
