Coopersville Rotarians are business and professional leaders who take an active role in our community. Rotary of Coopersville contains a diverse group of professional leaders and other civic-minded achievers and doers who are interested in making a difference in the community. They are men and women who to commit to Rotary and its objective of “Service Above Self.”
Rotary of Coopersville was chartered on March 10, 1947. For more than 60 years members of the Club have provided service to the community in many varied ways. The very first project in 1947 was the lighting of the football field. Since then the Club has provided ball fields and parks, influenced telephone and postal service, encouraged and funded youth activities, supported community groups, given scholarships, worked in classrooms, and generally provided benefit to our community through the avenue of Community Service.
