Waste to Energy: a pathway to new renewables

Our guest speaker, Dr. Pasad Kulatunga, is a Sri Lankan national who spends his time between his homeland and Sweden.  In Sweden, he was connected to Lund University where he studied Social and Economic aspects of environmental issues, solutions and sustainable practices. His passion is in Sustainability and is leading the transformation of the Group by bringing the sustainability sector through a flagship project in Waste Management, Karadiyana Solid Waste Management Project and refocusing Fairway BioTech to undertake cutting edge development projects and commercialization of new products for the animal feed market and export-oriented products sustainably produced in Sri Lanka.

Pasad has fingers in many pies.  He is Group CEO at Fairway Holdings, Founding and Managing Director of Sustainable Alternatives (Pvt)Ltd and Founding director of RE2H2 Energy (Pvt) Ltd.
