MIRC Charter Member Ronald Kok, a Dutch national, has a wide business experience and has gained, in his working life, some interesting insights about leadership, some of which he will share with us this evening. 

 

Ronald has worked under extreme conditions in the Abu Dhabi desert and the Libyan Shahara (6 weeks, 7 days per week) for a Texas company. To make it even more extreme, this happened during the revolution of Gaddafi. (1968 – 1970). His role at this time was Motor Transport Manager responsible for all equipment supervising 35 to 40 people. 

 

He further developed bridging cultural skills in Liberia (1971-1976), working for a Dutch trading company, importing mining equipment, forklift trucks, water pumps, etc.

 

(1977-1991) Netherlands MD Bofors Benelux, Germany MD Dynapac GmbH, (1991-2007) Sweden CEO Dynapac AB, 

Several turnarounds in Europe and USA, LBO Dynapac by Altor, Dynapac sold to Atlas Copco.

 

Currently spends his time as board member and investor. 

 

Ronald is a Dutch national, born 1945 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, educated at IVA Business college & Automotive engineering, the Netherlands.
