An update on Rotary Doctors in Kenya

As Malmö International Rotary Club members well know, Rotary Doctors is one of the main activities which we at MIRC, provide support, so we are delighted to welcome CG Olofsson back to give us an update on the project.  CG will share what effect Covid-19 has had on their activities and reconfirm our commitment to supporting this important work.

Rotary Doctors was Founded in 1988 by Lars Braw, Malmö-Möllevången Rotary Club. It is a foundation (NGO) with Swedish governors that appoint the board and it is managed as a multi-district activity under the auspices of Rotary International. It involves all 10 districts in Sweden. The objectives of Rotary Doctors are to provide access to health care, education in health issues, clean water and sanitation all to improve living conditions and health within the population. CG is a returning friend to MIRC and is a member of Bjärred Rotary. He was treasurer of Rotary Doctors for 6 years and still serves on their board.
