Volunteering: Botica Eagle Walk/Run

The goal of Botica Eagle's Diabetes walk/run is to raise awareness of diabetes on the island. According to statistics, Aruba currently has double the amount of people with diabetes compared to the world’s average. 

There will be a 10K, 5K and kids run.

Date: Sunday, November 14

Time: 5AM

Place: Botica Eagle

Route: Start at Botica Eagle, go all the way to Boardwalk Hotel and back

Volunteers would need to be at Botica Eagle at 5AM sharp. The tasks which require our help are as follows:

- hand out water

- give out medals

- structure the flow of the walk/run

- and guide runners / walkers 

Volunteers will receive a shirt from the organization.
