May and June News (2026)

On Sunday, May 17th, was the Annual Tour de Elizabeth. Some Rotarians were riders, others cheered on bikers, keeping them along the route, as well as 20 student riders helping Dave Strochak. 

On June 3rd,  we celebrated our Albert and Louise Davis Scholarship recipients. Congratulations! We awarded $51,000 in scholarships to 25 exceptional Elizabeth High School Seniors. Thank you to our application review committee! Since its inception, we have awarded scholarships to 525 students! 

On June 17th, we had our end of the year celebration! Thank you to all rotary members for all your hard work, especially President Kelly McCracken-Villanueva!

On April 29th we had our general club meeting at the Elizabeth IHop and presented them with a certificate of Thanks and Appreciation for their continuous support to our Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser.

January and February News (2026)

On January 14th, Mayor Chris Bollwage presented his annual State of the City Address. 

On Saturday, February 2nd we held our Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser. Thank you to all our volunteers! 
 
 
 

November and December News (2025)

Our Elizabeth Interact Club had a very active month, volunteering at the EAP Tree Lighting on December 2nd, the Miracle on Winfield Scott Holiday Event on December 9th. Thank you for bringing Holiday Cheer to our community! 

This December, Rotary's Angel Tree project provided 20 local youngsters with Christmas gifts, distributed through the Elizabeth Salvation Army. Thank you, Carlton Daniels, for coordinating the effort!

On December 19th, the Elizabeth Public Schools' Gifted and Talented Orchestra, under the direction of Ms. Hsin-Ting Feng, performed for Rotary. It was a wonderful concert!

September and October News (2025)

On October 20th, we held our 18th annual Taste of Elizabeth. Thank you to all the wonderful volunteers and restaurants that came out! See our facebook page for more wonderful photos and videos of this year's event. 
 
 
 

July and August News (2025)

On July 9th, Rotary came together to make sandwiches for the Elizabeth Coalition for the Homeless. 

On August 20th, John Evangelista, Executive Director of Groundwork Elizabeth, spoke to us about Groundwork’s successful Microforest program in the City of Elizabeth. Groundwork has presently planted five Micro forests in Elizabeth, and they are thriving!
