Well, as they say, another one bites the (Walton Blvd) dust. We are in Lions' pre-season!
It is definitely Dream Cruise week!
Rick and Tom (who has not been fashionably late recently) were the first to arrive, and then Kathy, Bob, then Tim, who was fashionably late. We all enjoyed some sort of breakfast food: breakfast sandwich, breakfast burrito, omelets, grits and pancakes that for which the Stuffed Bun is known. Did you know they have been in the business for 40 years?
Conversation was on Tim's Schoolhouse celebration in a few short weeks, the transition of Tim's business and also about City of Pontiac. Tim dashed before we caught him on camera.
The City of Pontiac discussion was specifically about Mike McGuinness (Mayor) and his skillful use of social media and Facebook. He has been doing some informational bits from City Hall for City residents. Personally. I enjoyed a different segment where he was out on Saginaw Street Downtown just before the PONTIAC Brand Car parade interviewing people, many from out of town, when an out of towner asked about the sculptures and figures at the top of the Pontiac State Bank building. In all my years (my dad's office was in that building) I guess I have never looked up!

Next week (August 20) is another evening (5:00 PM) meeting at Kegger Burger, downtown on Saginaw Street.
