Our “Come WINE with Rotary" zoom meeting was another success!  David Faye, Paris-born professional sommelier joined us as our wine guide. His career started as an international chef, but with his love for wine, he changed careers and became a Master of Wine.  Although, David does not consider himself a wine snob, he appreciates the wine he drinks, and believes with wine there is no judgement;  there is no right or wrong in your choices of wine.
David recommended a couple of wines, Guilhem, rose' (from France) and Toi Toi, sauvignon blanc (from New Zealand) and he explained his wine choices and food pairings to us as we sipped.  Both were exceptionally good summer wines that would be great for a barbecue or picnic. Lastly, when asked the question of cork vs. screw top, David responded that that was the “billion dollar” question!  David is happy to answer additional wine questions from our club.  Rick will help us facilitate, and we'll publish the answers here.  Stay tuned!
