Kegger Burger was Quiet, until we arrived!
We met up around 5 pm. Kathy arrived a little after 5 (and No she did not get a ticket) to David & Tom already enjoying a beer. Tom did the quick exit, to go to a meeting in Birmingham, and soon after that Julia Ruffin and Bob joined the group. Conversation definitely focused on a Wall Street Journal article that Bob read about Matt Ishbia and United Wholesale Mortgage. Turns out, David had an inside glimpse to the story. It provided for one interesting dinner conversation!
As for the food order, chicken shawarma, barbecue burnt ends on fries and on buns and who knows what else! All dishes were served with some of the best fries.
A quick look at the pictures on the wall of old Pontiac provided some insight as to what buildings were on Saginaw Street back in the day.
All too soon Julia and David had to dash, but Bob still had most of his beer, so we stayed until he finished it, and learned a lot of fascinating history about Pontiac and the Pontiac Press and its Editor.
