TWO TRUTHS & A LIE:  Jeannie McMillan and Michael Griffith presented this week.
Jeannie McMillan – In her early years as an accountant Jeannie oftentimes had to go to clients and conduct audits.  All the clients below are the truth, what happened during one of the audits is a lie.
1.  She once conducted an audit a pig farm where she had to stand with another auditor and count pigs as they ran through the line.  She was perched on railings and the other person pushed her.  She fell into where the pigs were at and had no change of clothing. She had to stay in the pig-sticking clothes for another 7-8 hours.
2. For a cruise line client she had to meet the cruise liner and pick up thousands of dollars in bags.  She found herself caught on the boat as it was pulling out of port.
3. For a rum company client she had to count barrels of rum.  This was before cell phones, and she ended up going to the family rum business and was kept by armed guards while they determined if she was legitimate.

Michael picked #1 as the lie, but he was wrong.  Jeannie’s lie was #3.  She never went on the plane to conduct the rum company audit.

Michael Griffith
Michael started out as a diver before switching to swimming in high school.
1. He swam two years in high school. After high school he went to a U of M swim camp.Michael Phelps was a speaker at the camp and Michael Griffith was chosen to swim against Michael Phelps. He did and he lost to Michael.
2. When he swam at Grand Valley State University he broke his shoulder, but was able to swim competitively swam at NCAA nationals. He finished fourth in the butterfly stroke.
3. Later he competed in the 100 yard butterfly in Irving, California.  He forgot his razor for shaving, but ended up coming in 68th against national teams from other countries.  Way to go Michael!!!

Jeannie guessed #2 was the lie, but she was wrong.  The actual lie was #1.  While Michael Phelps was the speaker at the camp, Michael Phelps didn’t swim that day.

Next week Larry Pfeil and Chris Spensley will present.
