Scholarship Program and Applications
The Anchor Bay Rotary is happy to continue to be able to provide a $1000 (One Thousand Dollars) scholarship to one graduate of the Class of 2022 of both of the High Schools of the public schools within our club boundaries.
We will award a scholarship available to these graduates:
- One to a member of the graduating class of Anchor Bay High School, and
- One to a member of the graduating class of New Haven High School.
All scholarships are awarded on a competitive basis and are not guaranteed. Applicants are required to provide information that is specified in the application and we review all applicants in light of this information and our criteria. There are very specific requirements that must be met to receive the scholarship funds.
The deadline for all applications was Friday, April 15, 2022. We are reviewing applications and will be announcing recipients at the upcoming honors convocations.

- Runners will be able to Register for the Fun Run ON-LINE. Watch here for a link to our Registration site and register and pay your registration fee in advance. If your registration is received by June 1, 2022, our fee is $30.00. Between June 1 and the Race, registration fee us $40.00. LATE REGISTRATION will be accepted up to 30-minutes before we start the race in the tent. Late registration will open at 7:15am. The race will begin at the corner of Washington Street and Front Street at 8:30am.
- All Registrations received will receive a Race Bib and T-Shirt. However, if the Registration is received after June 1, we will not be able to guarantee a T-Shirt in the appropriate size. We will do our best.
- Timing is included for all participants.
- With possible issues regarding Covid-19, please watch here for more information as we get closer to Race Day.
- Awards will be made to the Overall Finishers, both Male and Female. There will also be Awards to finishers, Male and Female, in age categories. Please see the Registration Application (when posted) for more information.
- In addition, participants 21 years of age or older on race day will receive one complimentary beer in the festival tent following the race. Please be sure to bring your ID to registration on race day. No exceptions!
- All runners should wear a mask when not racing.
- We will begin the race with a "staggered start" rather than the group start that we have used in the past. Participants will start the race separated by 6-feet for social distancing at the start line. We do understand that it is difficult, if not impossible, to maintain a 6-foot distance between participants once the race starts, but we will encourage all participants to be sensitive to social distancing requirements.
- Lastly, this year, we will be presenting medals and awards at the end of the race.
