Lighting of the Williston VT Christmas Tree
Christmas caroling, cookies and hot cocoa will accompany this year’s lighting of a Christmas tree in the Williston Village Green gazebo. The event, sponsored by the Williston-Richmond Rotary Club and the Williston Federated Church, runs from 4:30-5:30 pm on Dec 3rd.
Attendees are encouraged to bring donations of new hats, mittens, gloves or socks for the Williston Community Food Shelf.
2023 Toys for Kids Drive
The holidays are almost here, and that means its time to help our fellow Vermonters and northern New Yorkers to have a season full of wonder and joy.
NBC5 is a partner for this year's Toys for Kids drive, which is sponsored by the Marine Corps League. We need you to donate new, unwrapped toys to help children in our region.
All money collected stays in Vermont and northern New York and is used to purchase age appropriate toys to supplement donations, and for older children.
From now until Dec. 20, The Marine Corps League is looking for donations for children of all ages.
