Our speakers were Kevin Unrath and Bonnie Lord for the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library. Kevin, a new friend to our club and DAML Director, spoke to us about Public Libraries: 4 Truths and a Lie, which was enlightening and entertaining. The obvious answer most of us guessed was not so obvious or correct. Kevin provided perspective on each of the 5 statements.
Bonnie, a many year friend to our club, gave an excellent overview of the libraries new $15m proposed expansion, busted some myths, and took questions on the latest proposals. The 2 presenters could have easily filled 2 meetings.
