We revived a club tradition this holiday season – inviting children to write letters and receive responses from Santa. Organizers Sherry Pidgeon and Kel Backus worked with big help from the staff of the Dorothy Alling Memorial Library to set up a special mailbox for the exchange of notes to and from the North Pole. Santa and his elves (who, of course, all happen to be Rotarians in good standing) received 18 letters and had a great time writing fun responses to the children. We started small this year to ensure we had a good process. Next year the elves may have more missives to manage!
