Our speaker for Oct 30th was Dr Tara Zeleny from Color Our World. COW believe that art should be a part of everyone’s life to allow them to foster spontaneous creativity and meaningful self-expression. For that reason, COW works to facilitate mobile art relief around the world to allow everyone to experience the joy that comes from art. They have designed Art kits that are mobile and filled with crayons, markers, paints, colorful pipe cleaners, construction paper, and, most importantly, hope that can travel the world and provide much needed supplies to communities living in crisis. To do this successfully, art kits are developed to be highly accessible and transportable so that they can easily reach any community or child in need.

Tara's video presentation detailed the COW kits assembly and their destinations around the globe. COW kits made in Vermont now stay in Vermont, since the need is great, and some of the places the kits are given are at VT GAL (Guardians ad Litem), The Janet S. Munt Family Room, and our local Food Shelves. Club President Vince Conte received a colorful bandana to add some cowboy color to his attire, coloring his world.
